Another great visit from Ray and the AF crew!!

The AF gang made the rounds, first going down to the orphanage in Kampong Speu then popping up to Mondulkiri to drop off some clothes. Happy faces all around!

Update for the past 6 months or so, due to land allocation changes in Mondulkiri, around 20 families were moved about 5 miles from the original village and homes.

The new land which is located about 2 miles off the highway, deep in banana tree fields, has no electricity, running water and unfortunately no school!

The village elders (yes they have village elders) have offered a plot of land for the Anyway Foundation to build a school on. We are currently working on the budgeting for this project as well as talking with the companies that run the banana farming, as, not often but they will sometimes help with projects like these, fingers crossed.

There is a water well you can see in the pictures but we will need to drill another well that would accommodate up to 50 kids in the school.

We would like to thank everyone who donated and contributed and many others for their ongoing support.

Big shout out to:
– Irving Texas Bible Church
– A group of former Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas employees (no affiliation or association with corporate BCBS, just a group of friends)
– Ray Shackelford
– Chan Kakada Lov
– Ivan Evan
– Lynette Wade Leber & Nick Leber
– Sana Amm & BCS Computer
– The Mac Store
– ABCs and Rice – for their on going work

So much goes so far in a place like Cambodia.

Donations can be made on the Anyway Foundation website. To drop off clothes, computers, kitchen utensils or other ‘easy to transport’ items, please PM us.

Thank you again, and we will keep you posted on the progress in Mondulkiri!

Everyone should help someone, in some way, everyday…
