We wanted to set up a small little learning lab in a village in Takeo province where one of our previous staff’s family lives.
There are about 30 or so kids in the village, most only occasionally go to school when the family has money but for the most part kids get very little schooling.
So we talked to one of the families with 4 kiddos and they allowed us to set up our learning lab. We purchased a desk, 2nd hand computer, computer monitor, some speakers, some learning materials, posters, notebooks, dry erase board, world map and all kinds of fun stuff.
The kids really seem to enjoy the learning! We strongly encourage, the kids and adults sto share whatever they learn with other family and friends.
